Representing a lightweight, every-day carry weapon, we created the Nighthawk Carry Plus. The goal of this project was to create a small, lightweight 1911 pistol, while still maintaining flawless reliability. Billet-aluminum parts are used throughout the design to minimize weight and provide greater comfort while carrying. Additionally, the frame and mainspring housing has been thinned, flattened, and textured. This provides the perfect non-snag grip while drawing and shooting, yet comfortable enough for daily carry. Chambered in 9mm, the Nighthawk Carry Plus also adds numerous carry-enhanced parts such as a tactical curved slide stop, night sights, and coarse rear cocking serrations.
